National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy

The National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy (NCYPE) is the UK’s leading epilepsy charity for children and young people. Since 1897, we have been providing specialist services to help young people with epilepsy fulfil their potential and get the most out of life

Our campus, based in Surrey, helps children and young people aged between 5-25 years old who are very severely disabled as a result of complex epilepsy and other neurological conditions. NCYPE’s specialist school, college, medical centre and residential homes provide 24-hour care for 200 young people from across the UK who cannot attend mainstream school and are sadly unable to lead normal lives.

Our students suffer from frequent seizures which are difficult to control and can be extremely distressing. They may also suffer from learning, physical and behavioural disabilities which mean they require specialist medical and learning facilities and a very high level of care.

NCYPE relies on the generosity of its supporters and fundraisers to help it provide these much needed services for children and young people.
